About Us

At Excelle Home Care we are dedicated to providing high quality carers, to the elderly, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health problems including dementia.

Our management, staff and carers have all worked in the Home Care/Care Sector for a large number of years and are fully conversant with the operation of a Home Care Agency.

The Excelle Home Care team will deliver a complete service with friendliness, reliability and attention to detail.

Our aim at Excelle is:

·        To assist you live as full a life as possible offering you the choice of living independently in the safety and comfort of your own home.

·        To maintain your self-respect and dignity at all times.

·        To motivate and encourage you to achieve your full potential and ensure that your existing skills are maintained.

·        To work with you and Home Carers to ensure the highest standards of care at all times and that all care services are provided to your satisfaction.

·        To ensure that you have control and are involved in all decisions regarding the care service.

·        To continue to assess and respond to your individual unique needs in partnership with your family/ carers and other organisations.

 

Our Home Carers

Our Carers come from all walks of life some are qualified nurses, some with care qualifications, years of experience or little experience. 

We are careful in matching the skills of our care staff to your needs and choice.

Our Carers are very carefully selected.  All potential carers are interviewed and a minimum of two professional references obtained. They also undergo a Criminal Records Bureau Enhanced Disclosure check and POVA (Protection Of Vulnerable Adults) check.  They are trained to deliver a high quality service.  Our carers are encouraged to undergo training to NVQ Level 2 in Care through our in-house programme that also includes training by City and Guilds approved training centres.

 

Our Clients

Our clients’ needs vary tremendously from companionship, housekeeping, support with everyday living for people with disabilities, assistance with some personal care, full personal care with continence  care, feeding, to supervision of those with mental health problems including dementia.

Our Services

Visiting Care

This service is available to clients in the Havering and Brentwood area of Essex.  Minimum visit time is 1hr.  Half hour visits are available in certain areas only please enquire with our office administrators.

 

Live In Services

This service is available to assist clients who do not wish to go into residential homes, to remain in the comfort of their own homes. The carer lives with the client for a minimum of one week at a time.  

 

Holiday Service

We support service users on holiday and will accompany them on holiday at home or abroad.  We aim to make your holiday enjoyable and every care will be taken to ensure that the care/support worker that escorts you is suitable and compatible with your needs. We would expect you to pay for the care/ support worker’s travelling expenses.  This service is only available with a self employed care/support worker. A flat rate of introduction is applicable in advance.  Please book early.

 

Respite Care Service

Our respite service is home based enabling the family carer to have a break away from home while we provide a care/ support worker to stay with the client in the comfort of their own home.  This ensures that the service user (client) doesn’t have their normal routine disrupted.

Accreditation

Excelle Home Care is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection

We are members of the United Kingdom Home Care Association

We have Approved Provider Status for the Kent County Council and the West Sussex County Council, and we are also on the East Sussex Council’s Care Finder’s web site.

 

Insurance

Excelle Home Care carries a £5,000,000 Public Liability and £10,000,000 Employer’s Liability insurance (not applicable to the Introduction service).

·        Each client is an individual with needs, wants and desires. This individuality will be recognised and respected in accordance with your duties that you are expected to perform to ensure promotion and maintenance of the client's dignity and self-worth.

·        Each client, as an individual, has the right to fulfil his / her potential for personal choice of lifestyle and opportunities.

·        Each client has the right to a Care Service that does not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnic origin, creed, colour, religion, political affiliation, disability or impairments, marital status, parenthood, sexual gender or sexual orientation.

·        Each client has the right to refuse anybody entry to their home. This will include the Worker where the client feels an element of incompatibility as he / she perceives it.

·        Each client has the right of access to their personal Care Records, and to annotate them accordingly. He / she has the right to be consulted with respect to the Care Services provided and to be involved in on-going reviews of the same. Where, for reasons of mental frailty, the client is unable to make his / her wishes known directly, an appointed advocate may fulfil this purpose.

·        Each client has the right to details of the Contract with respect to the Care Services offered, including the costs involved.

·        Each client has the right to be assured that no personal or confidential information concerning their affairs will be disclosed to a third party without their express permission.

·        Each client has the right to complain about any element of the Care Service, and to do so without fear of any intimidation, recrimination or reprisals.

·        Each client has the right to be informed in advance of any changes in hours of duty by the Worker, or even a change in the Worker, as a result of emergencies.
